Mount GayUrkundlich belegt wird Mount Gay Rum auf Barbados seit 1703 produziert, weshalb er der lteste (und feinste) Rum der Welt sein soll. Er reift je nach Sorte zwei bis zwlf Jahre in Eichenfssern der Whiskybrennerei Jim Beam. Der Name kommt vom Berg Mount Gay in der Gegend von St. Lucy im Norden der Insel.
