30's/40's Gold Sword Tie Bar Clip by Anson garment union Vintage Buckeye Lake Ohio TLook closely at this Anson logo. This Anson Art Deco logo pre dates the usual (1945) one in script. The company started in 1938, and patent was still pending so consider this late 30s, to 1944. Popular collectible tie bar is goldtone with silvertone Rapier handle. It opens up and clips on a tie which needs to bunch a bit in the center (photo 7), so it looks like the sword is going thru tie. There's clip in back to hold it onto shirt. . AND HERE'S THE
