The pink skin colour develops well when the fruit receives direct sun as it ripens. Like all apples in Perth, it performs best in positions that get good winter chill the Hills and cooler southern suburbs are the most reliable locations. It needs cross pollination from another apple variety for good fruit set, so plant alongside
