Phlomis samia Emma Bridgewater The plants form a vase-shapedPhlomis samia Greek Jerusalem Sage, is a striking foliage perennial or small shrub that has narrow felted wooly, grey green, upstanding leaves. The hooded flowers are carried in whorls around the stems in the leaf axils in late summer, although ours often will start flowering mid spring. Plants will thrive in a sunny, sheltered site, in well drained soil, plants will also cope with a little bit of shade. Fast growing. Plants are drought tolerant once
