The inner ear is removable to show the semi-circular canals etc

There are some chips to the model here and there together with missing flakes of paint but all commensurate with the age and use of the item

although most of the paint has work=n off over the last century

particularly in the top jaw

Real human cranium / calvarium medical specimen. This is a big pieceThis cranium must have been part of a complete skull as it still has the pins on which, hooks held the cranium in place. Unfortunately, it has become separated from the rest of the skull at some stage in the past. The cranium is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and also has a nice Wormian bone at the junction of the frontal and sagittal sutures.
