Luna is sister to Sol and together they rule the balance of day and night. Often compared to Selene (Greek Goddess of The Moon) she is often described as a beautiful woman with a crescent moon on her forehead. My depiction plays on typical descriptions in a modern folk style. As a part of the Equinox collection, this piece is symbolic of the coming of spring as the day and night reach
