Created by founder Barry Barr in the early 90s the Strapcap was a response to Barry's persistent problem of losing caps whilst at sea; inspired by the webbing from a well known sandal, he created a durable canvas cap with a webbing strap around the rim which meant it stayed in place in even gale force winds.
