It combines the unique growth habit and deep red coloration of Nepenthes ampullaria “William’s Red” with the sinister clawed peristome of Nepenthes hamata

Though this can be overcome by giving the plant consistent warm temperatures with high humidity

Interestingly, we grow both a male and female clone labeled as Lady Pauline so there could be multiple assorted clones in the mix. The two parent species complement each other well and produce large, tubby traps with a deep purple
