Antique Louis XV Ormolu Marquetry Bonheur Du Jour Desk Roger Vandercruse 1780 Sold Antique American 70 lbAntique French Louis XV transitional ormolu mounted tulipwood & marquetry Bonheur Du Jour, Roger Vandercruse (dit Lacroix) , circa 1770. The desk is finely inlaid on all sides, therefore the desk can 'float' in the middle of a room. The top having a pierced ormolu gallery, below are two drawers and two cupboard doors, with marquetry inlay of Chinese vessels to the drawers and wine glasses and decanters to the doors. The top sides of the desk are
