In 1947, when raw materials became available again, Levi's took the opportunity to bring back the coveted 501 design with modernized detailing like a slimmer leg and now iconic double needle stitched back pockets. Made from non stretch red line selvedge denim from the now shuttered Cone Mills, the same denim they were made out of nearly 75 years ago.
