Named 'Continental Views', this piece depicts a romantic music lesson amidst a lush Italian garden overlooking a river. The border is stunning and comprises scrolls, cartouches and swags of roses. The transfer is brown and has been hand painted, under glaze, with a Robin egg blue, pale golden yellow, pink and green. The scene is enveloped with swagged garlands and scrolls and finished with an indented pie
