This 17th century brewing technique utilises the runoff wort from one mash, as the liquor for a second. This effectively concentrates the wort, allowing the production of a very strong beer without requiring additional sugars (though they still added sugars here!). This is a historic inspired recipe utilising Chevallier malt along with
