Victorian Heraldic Lion Rampant Signet Ring essex crystal "FAVORI DE L'AMOUR"DATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A striking antique signet ring dating from the late Victorian period, circa 1880. The face is intaglio carved with a heraldic crest and motto: a rampant lion within the Latin words DUCIT AMOR PATRIAE "Led by love of country". It's crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, with pinched shoulders and grooved borders around the band. MEASUREMENTS Head: 14. 9 x 12. 4mm Width of band: 3. 2mm WEIGHT 5. 6g MARKS No marks present, tests as 18k
