Victorian Durga Silver Locket Cuff memento mori Napoleon took a scientific expeditionDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 An unusual Victorian silver cuff bangle featuring a concealed locket compartment. The front opens to reveal the oval glass compartment; on the front is a depiction of Hindu Goddess Durga riding a lion, and inside an inscription that reads: "A. Pillar, from her loving son William". It's intricately hand chased all around the front side, with abstract floral motifs, and hinged down one side. MEASUREMENTS Width: 3. 4cm Wearable
