The upper is unlined, supple, calf suede with a bound topline, twin elastic gussets for a flexible, secure fit and a handy suede back pull tab. The clever thing is the sole. The moulded rubber sole is edged in woven jute, with all of the relaxed, casual aesthetics of an espadrille, but significantly
